What Is Super juice?

Super juice is a technique that extends the yield of citrus fruits while maintaining (and often enhancing) their bright, fresh flavor. Traditionally, bartenders discard citrus peels after juicing, missing out on the valuable aromatic compounds and oils they contain. Super juice harnesses these overlooked components by blending citrus peels with a precise balance of acids, water, and sometimes additional citrus juice, creating a highly efficient and flavorful alternative to traditional fresh juice.

Why We Use Super juice at STIR

    A single lemon or lime can produce significantly more juice using the super juice method compared to traditional hand or mechanical juicing. This means we need fewer fresh citrus fruits to create the same volume of cocktails, reducing overall waste.

  2. Consistent Flavor and Longer Shelf Life
    Fresh citrus juice oxidizes quickly, losing its vibrant flavor within hours. Super juice, however, remains fresh for several days while delivering a more consistent taste, allowing us to prepare ingredients in advance without sacrificing quality.

    Since we extract every bit of usable flavor from each fruit, we decrease demand for imported citrus, reducing our carbon footprint. Less frequent deliveries mean fewer emissions, and we can repurpose what would otherwise be waste into something valuable.
